Terms of Service.

By using Keptic ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

Keptic is a clipboard management tool for macOS and iOS. It captures, stores, and syncs clipboard history across your devices using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. All AI processing (categorization and sensitive content detection) is performed on-device.

2. Privacy & Data

Your privacy is central to Keptic. As outlined in our Privacy Policy:

• Clipboard data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account.
• We do not operate servers that process or store your clipboard content.
• The app does not collect analytics, telemetry, or tracking data. The keptic.net website does not use analytics or tracking cookies either. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Subscriptions (Keptic Pro)

Keptic offers a 7-day free trial with full access. After the trial, a Keptic Pro auto-renewable subscription is required to continue saving clips. Two tiers are available:

• Monthly: US$2.99 per month
• Yearly: US$19.99 per year (approximately US$1.67 per month)

Prices may vary by region. Payments are processed by Apple via the App Store and charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple Account's Subscriptions settings.

4. License and Apple's Role

Your use of Keptic is licensed to you, not sold. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Keptic on any Apple-branded device you own or control, and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in Apple's App Store Terms. Use of Keptic is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies to the extent these terms do not.

Apple's role. Apple is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for Keptic or its content. Keptic (operated by Majuvo) is solely responsible for the app, its maintenance, support, and any product claims. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.

Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you.

5. Limitation of Liability

Keptic is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we prioritize security (including AES-256-GCM encryption for sensitive clips), we are not responsible for any data loss, security breaches, or damages resulting from the use of the App.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
